At Kingsbury Senior Living, our focus is to help every resident enjoy the best quality of life through personal care and support. Our senior communities are meant to feel like home—welcoming and lively, where the sound of children in the hallways is a reminder that generations are sharing life together. We value connection and want families to look forward to their visits, not feel obligated to come. And when you can’t be here, you can trust that your loved one is being treated with dignity and care, just as we would care for our own family.

Every resident at Kingsbury carries a life story that shapes who they are, and we believe that story should guide the way we care for them. Through our Varietas® Memory Care Program, we take the time to understand your loved one’s history, preferences, and experiences, using that knowledge to provide memory care that is both personal and meaningful.
Environment, Engagement, and Education
At Kingsbury, the Varietas® Memory Care Program is our specialized approach for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of age-related dementia. The purpose of our program is simple yet powerful: to support independence and enhance quality of life through a focus on environment, meaningful engagement, and ongoing education.
Environment
At Kingsbury, we use what we learn about each resident to provide care that feels personal and comforting. Our memory care neighborhoods are designed to be safe and easy to navigate, with features like secure courtyards and gardens, single-floor layouts, and hydration stations with lightly flavored water to support appetite and wellness. Personalized memory boxes and clear name plaques help residents move around independently. Every detail is meant to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home.
Engagement
Spending time with others can have a real, positive effect on seniors and may help prevent or reduce signs of depression. At Kingsbury, each resident’s day is filled with a mix of activities tailored to their needs—things like arts and crafts, exercise, healthy meals, memory-focused activities, and time with friends, staff, and family.
Education
Everyone on the Varietas® team at Kingsbury, from staff to managers, completes Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) training—the top standard in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Our team also receives additional specialized training, including:
- Varietas® Memory Care Training
- Memory Care Sensitivity Training
